“Aviver les lignes” Clement Bagot’s opening – January 9th – 18h – ÉSAD • Grenoble

“Aviver les lignes”  Clement Bagot’s exhibition takes place from January 10th to February 9th, 2018 at ÉSAD • Grenoble

Open Monday to Friday from 2 pm to 6 pm, or by appointment (free admission).

Meeting with the artist on Tuesday, January 9 at 5:00 pm. Opening at 6:00 pm.

The exhibition follows Clément Bagot’s stay at the Résidence Saint-Ange, in Seyssins, during which he pursued his research, continuing to explore the multiple perception and games between drawing and sculpture.

This place was a good environment for the realization of large wood sculptures and allowed him to experiment new directions.
His sculptures now reveal the internal structure and a luminous device fixed inside gives the impression that they are inhabited. The play of the shadows on the structure is perceptible in these modules in weightlessness. Their outer surface is smooth and raw and lots and lots of facets compose it and give these “architectures” a real dynamic suggesting these constructions are a gesture drawn through space.

Born in 1972 in Paris, Clement Bagot lives and works in Montreuil.
Residence Saint-Ange in Seyssins from September to December 2017.
